Nothing like a grass/jungle fire burning around your house to get the blood flowing. It was pretty cool after the fire department notified me that the fire was near by (they did a good job of keeping the majority of it away from the house). So I moved the cars out of the way and didn’t have to worry about the Jeep rag top catching on fire. that could have been… interesting.

Anyway – the fire burned around the house coming to the fence at places (the flare up reached 10′ to 20 ‘ at times). and yes – we did have to break out the garden hose a couple of times to keep it back. all in all – an interesting afternoon here on the little island of Guam.
